Age Requirements
You must be at least 18 years old to purchase alcohol from Calvird Distilling.
By placing an order, you confirm that:
- you are 18 years of age or older
- the person receiving the order is 18 years of age or older
- the information you provide is accurate
- you are legally permitted to purchase alcohol
Valid photo identification may be requested before alcohol is supplied, delivered or collected.
Alcohol will not be supplied to a person under 18 years of age or to anyone who cannot provide acceptable proof of age when requested.
Product Information
We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, prices and other information shown on our website are accurate.
Product appearance, label details, packaging and colour may vary slightly from photographs displayed online.
Alcohol content, bottle volume and standard-drink information will be shown on the product or its packaging.
Prices
All prices are shown in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable.
Delivery charges are calculated separately and shown before you complete your purchase.
We may change our prices at any time. A price change will not affect an order that has already been accepted and paid for.
If an obvious pricing or website error occurs, we may contact you to correct or cancel the affected order. Any payment received for a cancelled order will be refunded.
Placing an Order
Submitting an order through our website is an offer to purchase the selected products.
Your order is not accepted until payment has been received or approved and we confirm that the order can be fulfilled.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order where:
- a product is unavailable
- payment cannot be processed
- incorrect information has been supplied
- we suspect fraud or unauthorised activity
- the order would breach liquor-licensing requirements or another law
- an obvious pricing or website error has occurred
If we cancel an order after receiving payment, we will refund the amount paid for the cancelled items.
Payment
Available payment methods will be displayed at checkout and may include card payment, PayPal or direct bank transfer.
Orders paid by direct bank transfer will not be dispatched until cleared payment has been received and matched to the order.
You are responsible for providing complete and accurate payment and order information.
Product Availability
All products are subject to availability.
Placing an item in your cart does not reserve it. Occasionally, a product may sell out before an order is processed.
If we cannot supply an ordered product, we will contact you and offer an appropriate alternative, store credit or refund.
Shipping
Calvird Distilling is a small independent distillery, and orders are packed and dispatched on selected days each week.
We aim to dispatch in-stock orders within approximately 2–5 business days. This is an estimate rather than a guaranteed dispatch time.
Delivery timeframes begin after dispatch and may vary according to destination, carrier delays, public holidays and circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Delivery of Alcohol
The person receiving an alcohol delivery must be 18 years of age or older.
The delivery provider may request acceptable photo identification and may refuse delivery if:
- no eligible adult is available to receive the order
- the recipient cannot provide acceptable proof of age
- the recipient appears intoxicated
- delivery would otherwise be unlawful
Alcohol must not be left with a person under 18 years of age.
Additional carrier charges may apply if delivery must be attempted again, redirected or returned because nobody eligible was available to receive it.
Delivery Addresses
Please check that your name, delivery address and contact details are complete and accurate before submitting your order.
Calvird Distilling is not responsible for delays or additional delivery costs caused by incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the customer.
Please contact us promptly if you notice an error. We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed after an order has been processed or dispatched.
Local Pickup
Local pickup from Stawell may be offered by appointment and is subject to availability.
Please do not attend the distillery without first arranging a pickup time.
The person collecting an alcohol order must be 18 years of age or older and may be asked to provide valid photo identification.
Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Orders
Please inspect your order after delivery.
If your order arrives damaged, faulty, incorrect or not as described, contact us as soon as reasonably possible at scott@calvirddistilling.com.au.
Please include:
- your order number
- a description of the issue
- photographs of the product
- photographs of the outer and inner packaging where relevant
We will assess the issue and provide a remedy where required under the Australian Consumer Law.
Change-of-Mind Returns
We do not generally accept returns or exchanges because you have changed your mind, selected the wrong product or no longer want the order.
This does not limit any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
Please do not return a product without contacting us first.
Australian Consumer Law
Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded, restricted or modified.
Depending on the circumstances, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund or other remedy if a product is faulty, unsafe, significantly different from its description or otherwise fails to meet a consumer guarantee.
Cancellations
Contact us promptly if you wish to cancel an order.
We may be able to cancel an order that has not yet been packed or dispatched, but cancellation is not guaranteed.
Once an order has been dispatched, delivery and return costs may apply unless the order is faulty, damaged, incorrect or otherwise covered by your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Responsible Consumption
Calvird Distilling supports the responsible consumption of alcohol.
Our products must not be purchased for, supplied to or consumed by anyone under 18 years of age.
